Project Outline

Urban development has caused rapid population growth.

New Delhi, the capital of India which relocated in 1912 was then had an initial urban planning.

However, there was a restriction of urban development in New Delhi which caused by the poor quality of housing and high density of slums surrounded around the new urban planning area of New Delhi.

The project aims to solve the problems between the slums and the capital with various type of strategies such as slum relocation, slum upgrading, urban planning with citywide infrastructure development, and social housing.
